#AD It's so easy to get caught up with life during this busy old season, in fact I still can't quite believe that we're over half way through the year already! So I made the decision to head up to the allotment and have a little me time, to sit back with my new BBQ from @bandq_uk and simply soak up the sunshine… something we often forget to make time for but is equally important! It's been so fun partnering with B&Q for this growing journey, and thanks to the items I picked up at my local store, I now have freshly picked baby carrots, new potatoes, spring onions and not forgetting pretty calendula petals for dinner 💚 p.s take a peek at my stories to see what else I've been doing up the allotment. #bandqit #paidpartnership #allotment #allotmentlife #homegrown #growyourown #garden #gardener #gardening #bbq #barbeque #metime #gardentherapy #kitchengarden #ediblegarden #thegoodlife #myhappyplace #myhaven

🌻🌳🌻 Do you have a gardening alter-ego? I’ve said it many, many times. If I had a different kind of house I would have a different kind of garden. The intense gold of this rudbeckia is an anomaly in my garden; most flowering shades are in the pink-white-purple/lavender/blue-pale yellow palette. But a house and landscape that could stand up to intense, deep rich color and searing elements would be something, wouldn’t it? No harm in fantasizing another landscape personality, is there? Do you ever garden daydream? . . . #gardening #garden #lindavater #gardens #greenthumb #backyard #mygarden #gardener #birdhouse #woodfence #growyourown #plants #instagarden #growsomethinggreen #gardendesign #homegrown #organicgardening #botanical #horticulture #gardenlife #gardendesign #bloomers #sunflowers #gartenliebe #flowersofinstagram #garden_style #yellowflowers #lindavater #summergarden

Made a big salad, sautéed squash for lunch and packed a bunch of cucumbers for airplane snacks. Lots of pansies and yarrow to dry to use when we return as well. This is the dopest rooftop garden I have ever seen- not to mention that view. The 220’ long bed produces copious amounts of food efficiently. The garden is located at @mccno & was created by @Instarfarms. Once I found her page I was instantly hooked, not only does she create beautiful spaces, but really cares about changing the way people view the local food ecosystem. Her passion for gardening shines through & she is always giving tips & garden knowledge (ex: #Instarbugs to identify different bugs in the garden). Also, @instarfarms raises chickens- in NOLA! 🐔 If you don't already follow her you should definitely head to her page and check it out! . . . . . . . . #UrbanGardenCoach #GardenCoach #OrganicGardening #Garden #Gardens #Gardener #Gardening #UrbanFarming #UrbanGardenConsultant #PicOfTheDay #Houston #NOLA #HealthyChoices #Harvest #FarmToTable #HealthyLifestyle #Entrepreneur #NoFilter #GrowYourOwn #PositiveVibes #Summer #Friday #GrowSomethingGreen #GoodMorning #TheHappyGardeningLife #RooftopGarden #InstarFarms #GardenInspiration #OrganicGarden

I watched the clip where Trump referred to people as animals and I needed this reminder… Gardening is Resistance. Today and every day: Grow and eat good food. Find your grounding in the earth and connect to the nature that is in you — the nature that is you. Make space for wildness. BE wild. Tend and be tender. Don’t be good; be defiant. Cultivate compassion and empathy. Hold yourself in strength and dignity. Hold each other. #gardeningisresistance It’s a beautiful day and I am out to work the garden for the first day this season. Hooray! And after the work I will nap. Because their hateful, inhuman way of being in the world is gaining a foothold here in Canada too, and I need to keep cultivating resistance and resilience anyway that I can.

Umm…garden arch goals anyone? 👐 Today was a cool day. Sometimes it's hard to meet gardening and plant loving people in my area, but online they're everywhere! Nicole over at @rootedgarden is a great example. She was kind enough to feature me over on her feed today, so I figured I'd do the same and share some of her beautiful designs! her post and stories are always so full of information and inspiration, especially for an always-learning gardener like me! • This is what I love about the #instagardening community 😍 none of us are perfect gardeners…we're always learning from each other and sharing what works. That's always been my mission with Epic Gardening…humbly sharing what little I know about growing plants in urban spaces 😊. • Go take a peep at Nicole's feed, you'll thank me for sure!
